Subtopic: The Elements Are Melting: 2 Peter 3:10 … KJV
This saying, has been common in the black community as far back as I can remember, 'to not hate the player, but instead to hate the game'. And never has this saying been more apropos, than when it has been applied to the conjoined American economic and politically processed game, which most of the world knows happens to be, 'the most dangerous game'! Even foreign nations and nationals, participate in and often influence it, not just America's but the world's game.
Does anyone recall reading the tale, 'The Most Dangerous Game', 40 or so years ago? Its conclusion was, that man, fiercer and deadlier than any ferocious beast, was the most dangerous game? Is the conjoined American political and macroeconomic system, actually the best game in town. Most Americans have been taught to believe that it is, while others have concluded that it is not, and have understandably dropped out of the make or break game.
The problem with too many Americans, in my opinion is this; they believe that by simply playing the game, deal them in, that things are going to change - and their lives are going to be better. But has anyone else besides me, noticed that the more that things seem to change, the more they seem to remain the same with the same winners and the same losers in the game? Simply consider America's permanent underclass, its wealthy elite, and the majority middle-class, that is squeezed in between. President Obama, was and is just another bit-player, the poster child in a win-lose game. The majority of Americans as well as some foreigners, many of America's allies, believed that he could and would be the agent for permanent systemological change.

How about looking somewhere else for a solution to America's, and the new players in the rest of the world's internationally recognized, and recently adapted game? Besides it is a fixed game. And as a result, the majority of the fans of this strategic chess-like game, continue to lose, even when a whole new team takes over and runs the game.
It is time to do something different, fans of the game, especially, when you keep loosing in the game! President Obama didn't loose the game, he simply found out that the game was bigger than he ever imagined, and the people who voted him 'best player', found out that there are few winners in this game. Typically, the real winners and game changers are rarely on the floor where the game appears to be played, they are behind the scenes referees and owners, who make up the rules and ultimately control the game.
And what other institutions are mixed in with this corrupt and flawed system's game? Corporations, small and large businesses, religious institutions (including the church), civic institutions and other state and small institutions… All are dependent on it, and in bed with it at the same time, and satisfied with the game.
Am I simply a critic, or an agitant, with respect to the world's expanding and geopolitical game? And, what will most conditioned Americans say, in response to anyone who criticizes their path to abundant life as a result of investing in the game? Oftentimes, they will repeat the following mantra: “It is not only the best game in town, it is the only game ”. Why? Because it it is the game in which most of them have placed their faith in, hoping that it will either help them to gain and retain untold economic freedom, wealth and power in deference to everyone else that suffers loss when playing the game.
Having an awareness of this fact, then perhaps it is time, especially for religious people, ”who are called by his name”, to come out from among the world's game, and to invest in the other game! On the other hand, it would appear that the modern day church at Pergamos (Pergamum), in particular, the American Christian church, can't just talk about Rome anymore. Why? Because, it is also fully settled, vested and invested into the world's most dangerous game, and encourages its followers to do the same. Er herm, might as well remain at home on the Day of the Sun, worship Ba al, or the Sun!
Again, whether or not it is the best game in the world or not and clearly, I do not believe that it is, but what should matter the most to believers is this, believers have been told to come out from the world's game.
Frankly, if I were to compare myself with some of the historic religious figures, philosophers … that preceded me, I find myself, more and more, becoming like the radical Jesus, Mohatmas Gandhi, Socrates, John the Baptist, Dr. Martin Luther King, Prophet Elijah, Elisha, John Brown... Why? Somebody, has to speak truth to political, economic and religious power, all of whom are vested in America's game.
Too many people in the groups that I mentioned before, investment bankers, hedge-fund managers, members of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Fed, corporate greed barons, leaders in religious, private and public institutions, political parties, foreigners … would prefer to keep a flawed system's-game, in place. Why? Because it benefits them and their friends the most, in deference to all who are part of the masses, who suffer from 'the most dangerous, stamp on your forehead, game'.
The mentioned groups, pundits, investors and wonks, will work the hardest to keep the right person(s) in office, who know how and will work hard to keep the game in place! Why? Because it is the infectious game, in which most of them have placed their faith, hoping that it will lead them to, and keep them inside of in economic paradise.. President Obama, for a moment frightened them, but he does not frighten them anymore.
Having an awareness of what is truly going on in the American and more and more, the world's game, perhaps, then it is time, especially for religious people, ”who are called by his name”, to come out from among the world's game, and to invest in the other one!

Am I a hater of the game? Like the writer of the Proverb who proclaimed, that there are 7-things that God hates, the answer is yes, I hate the game and what it does to people. I happen to believe that there is a better, game in the Universe!
