What If They Are Us (Whites) and We Are Them (Blacks)?

The Black-White Dichotomy!

Can't We All Just Get Along?

Wayman Wallace I have a more 'existential faith'; one that is essentially based upon unmerited favor (grace), and living in the present.  Throughout the Canon, it is fair to say, that there are numerous examples where unmerited favor was granted.

Even a Killer King, was bestowed with honor, despite all of his many indiscretions.   Peter-the Knife, should have been jailed for his infractions.  Some of the Apostles, contemplated in their hearts) (calling in UAVs from heaven, in order to fire up people.

How can we judge others, for engaging in similar practices that we engage in today?   If Mitochondrial DNA, and the biblical record turns out to be correct, 'white people came from you and I', and they are our Abels.  Ergo, for every atrocity that they have committed, or commit today, they were and are, our progeny.  And we do the same things, or have done so, historically. And if that is the case; somewhere in our DNA, we still practice today, what our ancestors engaged in before, when they were you and  me (black instead of white).  In other words, what we are experiencing today, might be comeuppance, or simply reaping what we have sown, vicariously, through our black/white selves, that were here, previously.

Syllogism, and where does our sense of entitlement or exceptionalism, come from?  We need to forgive, because we have done and are doing, some of us, the same things; when  engaging in similar behavior, as the ones that we accuse, of doing wrong to us.  Once our people understand what it means to forgive the past, and live in the present... then our people will excel.  THIS ONE THING I DO , forgetting those things which are behind me, and reaching forward to those that are before, I Press...Who can be blessed, in others words, when they keep looking back and judging others, given what they often do themselves?
