We Have Tried White and Now Black... Still No Light At The End of the Tunnel

To Mr. Latham,... Truthfully, many of our black preachers 'be pimping'; bling, bling and all, if you ask me. If you told any of my counterparts' 'to sell all that they had and to give it to the poor'; you would likely catch a beat down like never before. This is what I mean when I keep saying to the audience, that there are some serious systemic issues within the black community, that require attention (in deference to, or along with the election cycle).  A lot of time has been wasted by black Americans over the past 4.5 years; along with the President that they chose! Is anyone better off today... other than the rich?

In terms of transference; too many black Americans, view 'their purported first black President', in the same light as a Daddy Grace, Reverend Ike or Father Divine. It doesn't matter to them, if other people are starving, loosing their homes... As long as 'Big Daddy' has a big white house, is eating caviar and riding around in a 'pimp mobile', they are okay with it, eek. Why? They live vicariously through these folks, including the President!

We need more Farrakhans, along with the rest of us to hold President Obama's feet to the fire (and to forget about the hue of his skin). If skin was all that mattered, we could have at least voted for a darker hued one (tee hee hee) that looks like most of us. President Obama has been very busy over the past 4.75 years, addressing every other problem in the world, except the one right up under his nose (the black one).

I spent, approximately seven unplanned years in the region (District of Columbia); and know of what I speak. Has he been down on New York Avenue, across the Anacostia and into Suitland, Oxxon Hill, Richmond... Oh yes, I've been all over the place. And if charity begins at home; tell me exactly what he has done about 'Home rule'? When the entourage leaves DC, it will head down the White Hurst Freeway, long before crossing the Anacostia River, or over the Frederick Douglas Bridge. Well, there was an urban removal project that resulted in displacement, so that the new baseball stadium could be built.

Even in the District, where Obama lives; black Americans are being taxed without having an official Representative. Eleanor Holmes Norton, a Shadow Representative, is doing the best that she can under the circumstances. I worked on a team in the District, that fought for Statehood and an Official Representative (1 congressional vote for the mostly black citizens in the District of Columbia). This was in addition to the residents, servicemen and women, many of whom were black, that were fighting overseas at the time.  Prior to returning to the west coast, I worked hard to improve conditions there; and as a result I know of what I speak.  But here comes the zinger,

Many of the black residents in the District... are still 'Waiting on Superman to Come and Save Them'.  Why?  Because the one that they have currently in the White House, is imply not working out.  And still they hold out hope!   

Wouldn't you think...? Well, someone will accuse me of bashing the President, if I were to continue. Besides that, the President has more important things to do, than to fight for the mostly black citizens in the District of Columbia.  The former includes the ones who have fought to be in 'the Land of the Free and the Home of the Slave'! Four................ "a nine iron please"!

Finally, isn't it ironic that he threw his pastor of 25 years ('The Wright Reverend in my opinion'), under the bus?  I suppose you can tell, that I AM NOT A FAN!

Time Out for Bad Folks

A Time To Jail

Psychologically, and given the collective memory of black folks;' jail to some black folks equates with suppression, repression, negritude and slavery. Historically, a lot of post-emancipation black folks, went from slavery to jail. I know that, but it is not what I'm saying that we should do. No civilized group of people, would simply permit criminals to live among them, and pick them and their loved ones off, one at a time. Yesterday, while a man was sleeping with his 18-month old child, shot through a window and murdered both he and his child.

Just because another group, along with the government, misused and abused the meaning and purpose of detention and retention, does not mean that both are not necessary. Folks, who cannot and will not control themselves, have to have external controls applied..

I once infuriated members of the black community, when I argued that we needed to create a black criminal justice system and put it into place, in America, of the kind that was replete with jails.... And why did and do we need them, today? We need them so that we can administer the type of justice, that some of us cringe at, because they have been abused and misued by the system, even to keep blacks from voting. Also, it would allay the guilt, when one of our own, had to be captured and retained. Most black nations retain their criminals (and sadly at time, freedom fighters of Justice like Nelson Mandela). However, we could build and run a just system. And you only go there, when it's necessary. .

On the other hand, anyone that would not want to go there, all they would have to do is behave. .Some of our pooky's, need to have their butts locked up, so that the rest of us could have peace, until they grow up. Ain't don't say it, 'they don't have jobs'. A lot of people don't have jobs, and they don't get stupid, do they? .

Until black people learn that you have to have some form of governance in place, that includes dealing with bad black people) regardless of how they ended being the way that they choose to be; the black community will remain in trouble. That is not fair to the ones that cannot escape 'pooky and 'nem'. To do other wise simply indicates, that some black people are incapable of self-governance. Think about it, 99% of us do not hurt, rape, rob, murder, pillage, inveigle, shoot, stab, drug-infest, swindle... other people.... Sadly, some of our more schizophrenic and out of touch black people, in order to make a point, would prefer to leave black antigens out there , while permitting them to prey on the rest of us! It is dumb to simply permit any person to simply walk around with the rest of us and murder our wives, children, maim, steal...

Oh, wait a minute: Black folks permitted other people like Klanspeople, the Aryan Nation, the White Brotherhood... to do the same thing... Black schizophrenia... is what I call it!
