Finishing The Work That Was Started in Black Communities Across the Nation By our Ancestors

We ought to move forward, and not backwards to retrograde thinking and thinkers.
Kwanzaa Celebration at San Francisco City Hall

I trust that all of our brothas', especially the ones that give in to and practice (aberrant and anti-social) behaviors, would experience an epiphany, and engage in an immediate turnaround. Why? They need to help stop the madness, and assist the community to complete its rise and ascension that has been begun. Why?

Because the other peaceful members of the community (many of them who are struggling), face the same challenges that each one of them faces, each and everyday, except with one caveat; and it is this: We don't run and hide, instead we defend ourselves, the community and our loved-ones from people) and their criminal and flanking-maneuvers, who look just like us, in addition to other. However, in this context, I am referring to black criminals!

To be sure, black criminals are also besieging, hurting us... And they are the primary threats in our communities, all across the nation. Black criminals, rarely contribute anything, but mayhem, accusations and excuses, for bad behavior that they foment within our black communities.

Their lack of contributions, and preying on our communites - hinders the community's ability to finish its journey, and the work that was begun from slavery and servitude, right down until today. Our objective, was to enjoy relative peace and harmony, while working to help ourselves. Our one and two percenters black criminals, simply won't tolerate that, similar to the manner that their mirrors on the other side, won't let us rise up.

Even more than the Klan, or any white separatist group (they don't even come to 'black town' anymore), and why should they, when black people are doing their work for them? Black repeat criminals, particularly, are doing their share of doing the black community in, as well. And they are doing so, invariably in real-time, each and everyday. The external enemies of black people sit back, watch, laugh and feel vindicated, and have another beer.

I often wonder if some of you (our black criminals) are being paid or buttressed by the Klan... in others words being hired to do their dirty work (the extermination of black people), for them! And you have to give it to black criminals; they are doing a good job of keeping 'disruption', in our community's alive, whatever their motivations happens to be. Whatever their motivations are, and as far as I am concerned, many of black America's black criminals, are black America's other Public-Enemy number one'. The old folks used to say (and sadly someone told me that I am one of them - smile), you can't clean up anyone elses house, until you clean up your own. BTW, I will have to clean up my room, when I get off of this line, eek. But the truth is that black folks, have been cleaning up for members of other communities, and still refuse to clean up their communities and homes.

Some members of the black community, don't seem to care, if the black community continues to deteriorate, or if it falls apart. They are so completely absorbed in their own pathos or denial, that all that matters to them, 'is them'!

And as a result, keep this in mind: The bars and locks on the doors of the domiciles of many members of the black community, are not there to protect black-citizens from the Klan... Instead, they have been placed there, ostensibly; to protect black people, from an internal and immediate black and 'homegrown', internal threat,. The black community-member's, enemy number one, often lives next door. The latter prey upon black people, in order to cut out an existence, and to make themselves feel important.

Ironically, the 'black-criminal', will have you to believe that 'Po Po', is the threat, when they 'the black community's internal enemy-number one, is doing the same and more, than 'Po Po' is doing more to our people, on a daily basis.

There is a reason why they won't go across town with their crap, and the reason being is this: They know that if they were to do so, they would not be coming back. What black community-members tolerate, from our human-black-pathogens, will not be tolerated across town. Yet black people, tolerate it each day, while hiding behind locked-doors, iron gates, 2 and 3 locks, bars on their windows, alarms on their cars and windows....

Yet still in the black community, because of internal conflict; some blacks will welcome and endure black aberrant and criminals, along with their behaviors, each and every day, right down to and after they do something to them. Now, what is up with that, is that schizoid or what? Again, Kudos to the Nation of Islam and Minister Farrakhan, for going into black neighborhoods, and carrying this same message of 'detente, recovery and re-building'.

On the other hand, I have encountered and read about black folks, who enjoy and seem to encourage black criminality, and live vicariously through the images and behaviors of black criminals.

What is really so ironic about our black perpetrators (and their sympathizers) is this; they are the ones who want to be viewed as, the victims, while failing to take responsibility, for their own inertia, actions, inaction, celebratory instincts, other the preying upon law-abiding and self-respecting peace-ful black folks, citizens, that the former view as lambs. The truth is this: there is a segment of our black criminals, that are pathological and aberrant killers. Others are also hardened criminals and sociopaths, that act out of 'willful-intent'. .

It is difficult to win an external battle, and to build and sustain a community, when at the same time, you are trying to defend yourselves from a 'misguided internal enemy-mole', that is masquerading as a community member, from within. Who in their right minds would sympathize with sociopaths? The answer is moot, many people do. The Menendez boys, after murdering their parents, received scores of letters from females, requesting to be their wives, and so on and so on. There are a lot of people who prefer soci-paths, that will defend them until the end.

The other challenge is this: How do you operate successful, as a community, when you permit misguided black-folks within, to run 'the asylums', who empathize with and believe that the criminals, are the victims, or on the other hand that any black person that is trying to eliminate the problem , is an Uncle Tom; and therefore their enemy number one.

There is one major difference in the rest of us, however; we don't ravage our own. Instead, we work hard each day to come up with solutions, to make our communities thrive, and to work, again. In terms of black heritage, 'a whole of lot of folks, not just blacks, sacrificed their lives, in order for black folks, 'us', to have relative peace and to enjoy opportunity, in what was supposed to be 'the new world'.

How do we do it, that is to complete the roadmap that someone else started? We do so, by facing the head-on challenges (to include the challenges of the behaviors from aberrant black citizens from the inside, in addition to the ones from the outside), in order to make our communities work.

When you think about it: Isn't it enough to cope with all of the imposed structural and legacy barriers and challenge from the outside, that we contend with daily, from the outside - when we have to beware of the footsteps, that are coming up from behind us (black criminals, people in denial and sociopaths) that is?

And isn't it sad that we cannot live peaceably, within our own communities, or that grandma, grandpa or the kids, cannot sit on the porch, walk to the local store, play in the parks or even go to church, before one or more of these knuckleheads, acts out?

Black criminals, haven't suffered any more than the rest of us have. If criminals want to join in and to fight the proper way, they should lay aside their guns, stop cutting up, join us, use their heads, and help us to win the war. Which war? I am referring to the one on the outside, the one within, and the one that besets our communities, that derives from black perpetrators.

and the moral equivalent ones that you keep up on the inside. If not for yourselves, do so for your grandparents, parents, children, the community. It is hard to fight, when you daily hear footsteps, from your own community, coming up from behind!

To be sure, I am a proponent of a black criminal- justice system, and one that is tough and to the point. One who's objective would be to protect the citizens, eliminate crimes, lock up … people, regardless of hue or skin, then the rest of us can move on. Many times, the peaceful members of the black community, is being out-flanked, by its own combatants... that are coming up from the rear!

Peace & Grace

Solomon (a black thinker and longtime  activist)
